When I see the words (Head Phones Only) or HPO what does this mean? Do I have to have head phones to listen to this track? HPO, or Head Phones Only tracks are specialy designed to take advantage of the left and right sound channels of headphones in a variety of ways. One technique we may use is Left to Right or Right to Left Sound channeling. This is when only certain words are heard in one ear at a time and the other hears nothing or something totally different.

Another method we may use is what I like to call HPC or Head Phone confussion. HPC is when we talk or tell a story in one ear and then tell a totally different story in the other ear simultaneously which makes it extremely easy for your mind and body to just relax. Many times we may switch the story locations from ear to ear as the story gets more involved.

We also may use soft sounds and whispers to gently stimulate the auditory senses and help you pay attention to information and suggestions being mentioned.
